Trinidad Scorpion Butch-T got its name after its grower and main promoter, Butch Taylor. It is one of the hottest chili varieties due to its genetic relationship with Trinidad Moruga Scorpion, with a heat level of around 1,463,700 SHU.
Its deep red fruits have a characteristic growth at the bottom, resembling a scorpion's tail in shape. Despite its extreme heat, more hardened chili lovers can enjoy its fruity flavor.
